1962  Lotus  24 Climax

Chassis #944 was originally fitted with a BRM motor which was removed in favour of a Climax unit during the 1980s. In its original guise it was driven during its inaugural season by Innes Ireland and Masten Gregory achieving two wins three seconds a fourth and fifth. Ireland had exclusive use of the car during 63 producing one win one second two thirds and several lower position finishes. Trevor Taylor drove the car during the 1964 season. Prepared on a no expense spared basis the car is in fantastic condition and perfectly set up for European Historic racing. Eligible for HGPCA Monaco and Goodwood events the car competed in the 2010 Revival finishing in 6th place.
